JP at CEQH 13th Octave LaHoChi practice day

Last Sunday, our 13th Octave LaHoChi Master-Teacher, JP Schmitt of Unstruck Sound NY, LLC, graced us with his presence during our practice session. While the phrase “graced us with his presence” might sound a bit corny or over the top, it genuinely reflects the essence of what transpires every time he is with us. To me, he is a dream come true.

The word ‘grace‘ carries profound meaning

The word ‘grace‘ carries profound meaning—it suggests elegance, divine influence, and the ability to uplift others. JP’s presence does this for us. He brings a sense of calm, inspiration, and depth to our practice that transcends the ordinary. His guidance and energy remind us of this sacred healing practice’s transformative power, leaving us both humbled and profoundly enriched.

So, yes, in moments like this, when it comes to JP, the word “grace” feels entirely appropriate, capturing the extraordinary connections and the shared growth that unfolds during our time together.

I believe that grace and generosity are true Gifts of the Holy Spirit. JP’s generosity has shown itself in every encounter and interaction we have had since the fateful day I called him, and he happened to answer a stranger’s phone call. Sunday was the second time he volunteered to assist us by donation, clearly indicating his genuine devotion to the work, us, and his students.

His grace and generosity are a dream come true, mirroring what I strive to live by. One of my favorite affirmative prayers over the years has been:

“You are the Lord, my God, gracious and loving. I rest in Your love; I walk in Your ways. You are with me to bless me.”

It is my fondest hope that everyone who reads these posts will consider taking a 13^th Octave LaHoChi training with JP.

And while I sincerely hope you will take it with us at CEQH, I will rise above my ‘egoic mind’ and nobly say,

take it with JP (even if you have taken it before with another teacher) whenever and wherever you can.
