Genie~us Making: Conducting Consciousness for Our Emerging Humanity

Becoming Better and Brighter Through Conscious Participation

As I reflect on the remarkable changes that have unfolded in my life recently, I find myself overwhelmed with gratitude. What began as a commitment to become a podcast host and complete a book project has blossomed into something far greater than I could have imagined.

The journey of creating Kaleidoscope for Becoming Better and Brighter on Purpose and With Purpose has transformed not only my work, but my life itself. It inspired me to complete my ebook series, launch this podcast, develop future coaching programs, and embrace opportunities that seemed impossible only months before.

Today, I find myself living in a beautiful new apartment, working in inspiring office spaces, and driving a new vehicle. Yet six months ago, I was facing circumstances that left me questioning how I would move forward. I was living in an unhealthy environment, struggling with discouragement, and navigating significant uncertainty.

What carried me through was a simple but powerful commitment: to keep focusing on becoming better and brighter, regardless of appearances.

That commitment required difficult decisions. I released what no longer served me, trusted the process, and remained willing to move forward even when the path wasn’t clear. Looking back, I can see that willingness became the catalyst for transformation.

The Power of the StillPoint

One of the most profound discoveries in my work has been the importance of what I call the StillPoint.

The Still Point is not merely a concept. It is an experience.

When external noise quiets and we allow ourselves to become still, something extraordinary happens. Our inner wisdom becomes easier to hear. What felt confusing begins to clarify. New possibilities emerge.

In the Still Point, there is no forcing, fixing, or pressure. There is only space.

Space to breathe.

Space to listen.

Space to remember who we are becoming.

Throughout my years as a psychotherapist, I have witnessed countless individuals reconnect with strengths, creativity, insights, and capacities they never realized they possessed. Increasingly, I understand this process as the art of conducting consciousness.

It is not about controlling reality. It is about participating consciously in its unfolding.

What Is Genie~us Making?

Many people hear the word “genius” and immediately think of intelligence. While intellect certainly has value, my understanding of genius has evolved dramatically.

Genie~us making is the process of consciously engaging with the forces that shape our experience.

It involves working intentionally with attention, imagination, energy, emotion, symbolism, relationships, frequency, vibration, and awareness. These become the instruments through which we participate in our own becoming.

As humanity continues to evolve, I believe we are moving toward a more luminous expression of ourselves. Not simply a more intelligent humanity, but a more compassionate, cooperative, collaborative, and conscious humanity.

I often refer to this emerging possibility as Homo Luminous.

This evolution is not driven solely by technology or information. It is driven by our growing capacity to consciously participate in the creation of our reality.

My Story of the Genie Pendant

One of the most meaningful examples of this understanding came through a personal experience involving a beautiful pendant I once fell in love with.

Years ago, I discovered a stunning pendant in a small secondhand shop. It seemed to call to me. I named it “Genie Manipura” and immediately felt a deep connection to it.

Unfortunately, circumstances prevented me from purchasing it in time. The shopkeeper eventually dismantled the pendant, sold the stones, and melted the gold.

I was devastated.

All I retained was a moonstone face from the pendant and a blue topaz ring that seemed insignificant at the time.

Years passed.

Life unfolded through heartbreaks, awakenings, reinventions, and continuous growth. Then one day, while reflecting on the ideas that would become my Genius Making chapter, I looked at the blue topaz ring differently.

Suddenly, I realized something profound.

The genie had never disappeared.

It had simply changed form.

What I once believed was lost had been transformed into something more intimate and meaningful. The magic was never inside the pendant itself. The magic existed within the relationship between my consciousness and the object.

The meaning I assigned to it.

The stories I carried.

The attention I invested.

The love and imagination I brought to it.

That realization changed everything.

Thoughts Becoming Things

Through this experience, I came to understand that what we often call magic may be the process through which thoughts become things.

Not necessarily through instant manifestation or fantasy, but through the accumulation of meaning, attention, intention, and emotional energy.

Objects become sacred.

Experiences become transformative.

Ordinary moments become illuminated.

We begin to recognize that our consciousness plays an active role in shaping how reality unfolds within and around us.

This is why I now say:

We do not discover our genies. We orchestrate and anoint them.

We awaken possibility through our relationship with life itself.

The Willing Ones

Throughout my recovery journey, I learned the power of a simple word: yes.

Many years ago, I stood before a room filled with recovering addicts and shared a realization that profoundly impacted my life.

Every time we say no to self-destruction and yes to growth, healing, responsibility, courage, and possibility, we contribute something valuable to humanity’s collective evolution.

Today, more than four decades later, I believe this even more strongly.

The evolution of consciousness is not an abstract concept. It happens one choice at a time.

One courageous yes.

One willing step.

One act of becoming.

The people who continue saying yes despite uncertainty are what I call the willing ones.

They are the dreamers.

The healers.

The seekers.

The creators.

The builders of a more conscious future.

Not because they have all the answers, but because they are willing to stand inside the mystery and continue moving forward.

Participating in the Evolution of Consciousness

At its heart, genius making is the art of living that yes.

It is the willingness to engage consciously with life.

It is the courage to enter into relationship with the unknown.

It is the recognition that the field where matter and spirit meet exists within each of us.

The Still Point.

The Zero Point.

The Field of Consciousness.

The place where possibility becomes reality.

As we learn to access this field more consciously, we become active participants in humanity’s unfolding story.

And perhaps that is what this journey has always been about.

Not becoming someone else.

Not finding something outside ourselves.

But remembering who we truly are and consciously participating in who we are becoming.

May you continue saying yes.

May you discover your own Still Point.

May you find your field.

And may we all continue becoming better and brighter, on purpose and with purpose.
